The Hand Tarot, 18K yellow gold (750/1000). Set with 0.25 carats of brilliant-cut diamonds (color H-G, clarity VS1-VS2), 0.81 carats of orange sapphires, and 0.69 carats of red sapphires. Measurements 3.5cm length, 2.2cm width.
The early use of the hamsa can be traced back to ancient Mesopotamia, Carthage, and Morocco, where the image of the open right hand appears in Mesopotamian artifacts as amulets of the goddess, while other protective symbols like the Hand of Venus and the Hand of Mary were used to shield women from the evil eye and promote fertility, healthy pregnancies, and overall strength.
